About this kilt
Chris Gower, a Cornishman, invented Cornish tartan at the end of the 20th century. Though Cornwall lacks formal clans, its people share a deep connection to their ancient traditions and regional pride. The unique culture and heritage of Cornwall, a Celtic region in the southwest of England, were the inspiration for the design of the tartan. People all over the world who are proud of their Cornish heritage wear the Cornish Kilt, which is a well-known symbol of Cornish identity.
The Cornish Tartan Kilt features black, blue, red, white and gold, representing the rolling hills, the sea, and the golden sand of Cornwall.
