    Questions about ordering a kilt

What is the difference between the kilt styles?
Tartan kilts are hand pleated in woven cloth and suit weddings and formal wear. Utility kilts are cotton with cargo pockets and reinforced stitching, built for work and daily wear. Hybrid kilts put tartan panels on a utility body. Denim, leather and tactical are the same kilt cut in different cloth.
Is everything made to measure, or only the kilts?
Everything. Made to measure is how the whole catalogue is built, not a kilt policy. Jackets, waistcoats, trews, shirts, neckwear and kilts are all cut to the measurements you send rather than to a size chart, whatever the style or the price.
How much does a custom kilt cost?
The price is on every card on this page and on the kilt's own page, and the total updates as you choose your waist size and extras. Tartan kilts are the lower end of the range and leather kilts sit at the top.
How long does a kilt take to make?
Standard production is 2 to 3 weeks from the day your order is confirmed, because the cloth is stocked and cutting starts immediately.
